N E W S
Well then, my adventures at Helsinki is over. My sister returned from Italy this morning and I had to leave from her apartment. Oh phooey.
I had lot of fun there, living in Helsinki. It was quite expensive to live there though, but it was great to be there.
My first week there was peaceful. I went to the centre city, went to see "Star Trek", reading comics, mangas, watching movies... Just relaxing.
On the second week, *
Zardra came to visit me and stayed with me from Wednesday the 17th - Saturday the 20th. We walked around the city, went to see "Terminator 2" and went to a museum.
On the third week, I just relaxed at the beginning of the week. Went to see "Wolverine" for the third time (heh), shopped, walked around... at the end of the week, Zardra and ~
Sandied came to stay at my place. 'Cause last weekend, on Saturday the 27th, it was Gay Pride at Helsinki. I met lot of my friends there on that day! And it was my first time at Gay Pride. It was great! The people were awesome, the atmosphere was so awesome! People were singing and having fun! Gays, lesbians, bis, hets.... I was wearing a green shirt that said: "Straight but not narrow" on my back. (Wrote it by myself.) I received couple of cheers and thumbs-up for that! Whee~!

We stayed at the park, watching and listening to different performances until it got a bit chilly for our liking and had to move on. We met our friends at Tennispalatsi (Tennis Palace). They were at a cafeteria... when suddenly, we just decided to go see "Transformers 2"! We did *not* plan that at all! It just happened!

Good thing that we did... the movie was great!

Loved the special effects and the battles!

After that, Zardra, Anu (another friend of Zardra and I) and I went to my sister's place. (Sandied went to her friends' place for the night.) We were so tired... =_= But it was a fun day. (If you want to see photos taken from Gay Pride, visit at
Haikii.org and click on"Extra" -> "Photos". )
On Sunday the 28th, we (Zardra, Anu and I) just relaxed before going to the centre city. And then went to a park to listen "Tuska" (Pain) summer festival. Didn't quite see what was going on behind the fences, but didn't need to 'cause we could hear pretty well. It was kinda my first experience of being in a festival...

Never been at any live festival concerts... ever. It was nice to see how it was.
*sighs*
And here I am. Back at home in Lahti. Away from Helsinki...
And away from the repairmen and all that noise.

Awww... take your time with the comments and all. No hurries. ^^
As for your question: yes, I know about the Wolverine manga 'cause I happen to own one.
Short summary about it:
It has *nothing* to do with the actual X-Men or any of Wolverine's old stories. It's a whole new story of Logan as a teenager reaching to his adulthood. He was found from the woods when he was a kid and was raised in a karate dojo, living quite peacefully, until someone comes after him. For what reason? Well... let's say that they don't have anything good in their minds...
Logan is a mutant and has his abilities but he doesn't have the adamantium skeleton.
That's all I can say about the manga, without giving anymore spoilers.
Oh yeah, guess what? The artist of the manga is here in DA as well.
Here's the [link] to his gallery.
