Hey, hey! I got something to share with you and it's MY very own Naruto-character!! My character, not Kishimoto... MINE! *___*
There is an ongoing "Original Naruto character" art contest at the Finnish Naruto site naruto.fi. And this is my ninja for the contest!
At first, I thought - like *Zardra pointed out in her comment about her character at Y!gal - this is gonna be one-time character. But the more I looked at him, the more I got ideas for a story for him (and Itaru). He's just too cool to have killed.
Anyway, a little warning to you all: the next info-packet about Shirou is LONG! :erm:. I got too excited about him and his background... ^_^;;
****
NAME: Shirou Mizushima AGE: 25 HEIGHT: 174 cm VILLAGE: Sunagakure CLAN'S NAME: Mizushima PERSONALITY: Serious, loyal, stubborn but has a heart in place. He's careful around new people and doesn't make friends with them at once. Shirou takes his missions seriously and does his best not to endanger his partners/friends lives. He doesn't leave them in trouble. He hates unnecessary killing like innocent people's lives.
FAMILY: Shirou's father, Isamu is originally from Kirigakure and he was a traitor of his village. Because of this, Mizu-ninjas killed him while completing his mission with Suna-ninjas. Shirou's mother, Kohaku, isn't a ninja - only a regular citizen who's still alive. Because of Shirou. Shirou was about 6-year-old when his father was killed.
SPECIALITY: Shirou has besides ordinary chakra-control also elemental chakra, the wind. He has the talent to manipulate chakraa as if it's like a wind with or without the special kunais. It takes lot of concentrations from him. He's one of the dangerous Suna-ninjas besides Gaara. The most dangerous attacks he had created is, "hurricane lances", which launches from inside the hurricane at the enemy forces. At first, this was very exhausting technique for Shirou, but in time he learned to save his strenght and lessen using in so he won't get tired in the middle of battle.
EXTRA INFO: Shirou is a born genius, maybe not like Shikamaru type of genius but still very thinking type of a person. He can anticipate the next attack and can plan out the next attacks almost in lighting speed. He's often compared to Konohagakure's deceased Yondaime Hokage, Minato Namikaze.
He didn't like Yondaime Kazekage's ways to use his son, Gaara and his "sealed" demon to his advance. But he kept his feelings and thoughts about the Yondaime Kazekage within him. When Gaara became the next Kazekage, Shirou sweared his loyality to him. He also believed that Gaara will be better Kazekage than this father was.
Shirou's taijutsu is good, but he has an excellent chakra control. So his specialized to ninjutsu and genjutsu.
His right eye is blind, which was caused by a battle. Shirou won't have it covered nor did he want a new eye to replace it. He's not ashame of it. He made a tattoo under the blind eye.
Shirou isn't interested in relationship (for some time) with anyone. He managed to make alliance with a Konoha-ninja, Itaru Inoue, with whom he had missions together in the past. (And in the future,)
*****
*whew* So there! Are... Quite an info-packet about him.
There will be more about Shirou (and Itaru) in the future. I might come up with a story about but I don't know if I will be writing it in English. ; I will consider about it. But there will be more pics of Shirou. There has to, because of a green-haired Konoha-ninja that keeps stalking him all the time...

Mind if I use that bio-base for my older Naruto OC, I need to make some notes about him. (Though I'm not going to participate to the competition, I've really no time.)
Like your character, btw. Looks very cool.

No, I don't mind at all. Actually, I got the bio-base from Naruto.fi so I don't mind it if you use it.
Thank you!

What's the deadline in the contest... just out of curiosity, as I haven't seen anything said about it.

The deadline is to May the 25th. You still got time... That is, if you want to take apart of it.
