Hohohoo~!

It's December already and Christmas is two weeks away from now.

What have I been up to lately? Well, I have been doing commissions, trying to relax a bit, looking for a job (sent two applications couple of weeks ago), thinking what to get for my family/friends for Christmas... (which get tougher every year.)

I got the pay check from the Scouters a week ago and today I received my tax money back. Sweet~!

I was on *Zardra's and mine annual Christmas shopping trip to Helsinki. But there was a small change in our plan: we went to see a concert on that same day - so we spent the night in Helsinki, at Omena Hotels (omena=apple). To read more about our days at Helsinki, go to my LiveJournal.

I also signed into an art course of Japanese watercolour ukiyo-e. Alas, all the places has been taken and I'm third in the waiting list. Meaning that I have to wait for three people to sign out from the course... I may or may not be able to get into the course. Let's just wait and see.

Today, I went to look for gifts to my family - more like look and see what I can find from various stores/shops... *sighs* So hard~! In the end, I ended up buying something for myself. Gah! Wait a minute?! It wasn't suppose to happen like that!! *sighs* Oh well, at least now I know what to get for them and I can buy them on Monday. ^^

Tomorrow, I will be going to see "Oliver (Twist)" at the theatre with my mom, three cousins and two of my cousins' boy/girlfriends.

On December the 6th, is Finland's Independence Day. Our beloved country will be 92 years old. ~Bakanat's Christmas party is on next week and so is one of my friend's birthday. Yikes! What to get for him?! Aaaah~ troublesome~!

And I still need to draw a Christmas pic for "Crimson Ninja"... and to here. Hmmm.. still got the time.

Info on the chibi commission:

* Payment & method: in EUROS ( € ) via PAYPAL. (Suomen kansalaiset: hyväksyn myös maksun tilinsiirrolla.)

* Price: 10 € for two chibi characters. Separated or together - your choice. If you want more than two characters, then the additional character will cost 3 €/character.

* Comment to this journal to place your order. I will take 5 orders at a time.

* I'll send a note and we can talk more about the order. Also exchanging the email addresses.

What else?

* They will be sketched with pencils, re-drawn and coloured *completely* with a tablet and OpenCanvas. (Of course edited a bit with CS2.)

* Background *will* be simple - like in the samples. Unless you want something else added into it, let me know. But nothing detailed.

* It doesn't have to be a Christmas-themed pic, if you don't want to.

* I will sent the finished work via EMAIL, with a high resolution!! I won't sent it as a print via postal mail.

Alldayter came and went... quite peacefully. Not much people were there at Youth House Plaza. And that we couldn't watch any movies/animes from the big screen... or get any dance songs... *sighs* All the players were behind the lock and we didn't have the keys for it.

Oh well, a minor setback. At least there were enough TVs and with the help of an XBox, we got to see "Dragonball: Evolution". Ugh, not recommended to die-hard DBZ fans. But it was entertaining to watch. So many fails. Never again, I will watch it. No way.

Oh, I got to play "Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen"-game for the first time~! It was good~! Some of the characters' attack movements were awesome... and the voice actors of Optimus and Soundwave were great! Peter Cullen and Peter Jessop. And Megatron's voice in it was an old pro - like Cullen - Frank Welker (who also was Soundwave in TF G1 and the TF2-movie).

I thank ~Dinogomonni for instructing me how to play it. Spankyouu~ Dino~! Another round sometime, yes?

All in all, I had good time at Plaza.

Now, I can *really* sigh in relief about the illustrator's job.

Yesterday, I received the last comments of the final work and they all liked it. Awesome!

Now, I wait for the pay check and the letter of reference from them - so I can show it at the social office. I do hope after the visit at the social office goes well. That I would get the daily funds back. TAT Let's hope.

But I won't worry about it now, no. Today is a special day... our Bakanat-group (local Japanese pop-culture group, which is also known as anime/manga group), is going to have a Alldayter at Youth House Plaza!! At last!! The waited day has arrived!! Yaaay~! Meaning we are going to have lots of fun there: sauna, playing games, watching animes (I hope), just having fun at a big place!

My friend, ~Dinogomonni, is bringing her PlayStation so we can play "Transformers" (the movie-verse) game... *___* I get to try it for the first time! Can't wait!

Still got some hours to kill and I cleaned up on Thursday already... and so begins the drawing.

The job as an illustrator has ended. It ended yesterday. Well.. I think it ended. How come? You see, I was one day left from my schedule and yesterday I managed to sent the last pic to them, hoping to receive opinions about it. So far, no replies from them~! Expect for one who wrote the contract to me. She thought they are great - all of them. But I still need others' opinions about the last pic. If there is something to fix, then I will be working overtime. That's why I wonder if my job is over or not. Feh... u_u

I drew them two maps (completely made up maps). A huge pic from which you have to search for happenings that are forbidden while camping outdoors. A pic of a time machine and how to create one - no, nothing too futuristic like in sci-fi movies, no. It's a simple box that had 3 timers for month, day and a year. Fun~

To my surprise, I received extra work from them - draw animal cards so the kids can play mime with others guessing what animal she/he plays. Of course, I get an extra payment from those as well.

I might get my pay check on next month. It's part of their policy: everyone there receives their payments on month's first Tuesday. Well, obviously the first Tuesday of this month has already passed by...

Actually, I'm glad to get my paycheck on next month. Better save my money for December 'cause lot of things are going to happen then!

But now, I will try to relax, draw more pics of my own... do other stuff that I had to put aside.



PS: Out of topic, I just read an info about Y!gallery next status. Y!gal is *moving* to new server, which is going to be much better and faster! Yaaay~! That also means, the site will be on read-only mode or on site-offline mode - depends on the situation.
