Hoo whee~ What a weekend. Still can't believe that there was a convention right here, in my home city. Amazing... that's all I can say. Desucon - the very first one - began yesterday, on Saturday and ended today.

Yesterday (on Saturday), I was at Artist Valley with ~Myunfelia and let's say that it wasn't the best place we got. People didn't realized that the Artist Valley continued from the second floor to the third floor. We were at the third floor. Some people came and looked at our prints... however, we did manage to sell some prints and stuff. Myunfelia made couple of keychains and hair sticks (?) (you know, you make a hair bun and then put the stick into it). The day wasn't so bad, after all.

After the Artist Valley, I hanged around a bit and went to see what kind of stuff and mangas they were selling. (Bought Fruits Basket 7 and Dream Kiss vols 2-4 - Finnish editions.) Plus I managed to get Tooru Furuya's signature. *lol* I got see the seiyuu of Yamcha from "Dragonball" and Tuxedo Mask from "Sailor Moon"! Too bad that *Zardra wasn't there... she was at her friend's wedding.

I could've stayed longer for the Desudisco and other late night programs on Saturday, but I suddenly received a minor headache and had to go home. u_u; I even fell asleep around 10 pm...

Today, on Sunday, I had an early wake-up call. No thanks to my drunk neighbours, who thought it would be nice to sing out loud around 6 - 7 am. DX Dammit. I wanted to sleep late~! *pouts*

Anyway, I had *plenty* of time to look around at the tables and managed to buy stuff and mangas... too many. Again. But hey, that's what conventions are: buy stuff with cheap price as many as you can or want.

I took photos (of course) and met my friends there. Plus, even Zardra managed to get back from her trip to Desucon long before it was over. Yaaay~! I went to see a yuri panel with her and ~Sandied - out of curiosity. (Still not a big fan of yuri as I am of yaoi... but I have read mangas that have some yuri moments as a side-story... All in all, I do support yuri as well.)

After that... well, we just looked around, walked back and forth, met our friends and went to the sales tables again. And before we noticed it, it was over. Waaah~

I do hope that Desucon will be on next year as well. ;D From what I have heard, it might just happen.
